Knarik Vizcarra has served in senior roles in municipal planning departments across the San Gabriel Valley, managing planning functions and working at the center of entitlement strategy, environmental review, and public decision-making—where projects either move forward or stall. She has led complex development efforts, coordinating across city departments and with public agencies, consultants, and private stakeholders to move projects and programs from concept to approval.

She has presented before City Councils and staffed Planning Commissions, Design Review Boards, and Historic Preservation Commissions, guiding projects through each stage of review. Through this work, Knarik has seen firsthand what moves projects forward—and what causes them to break down.

Knarik holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is a licensed real estate agent. She lives in South Pasadena with her family.
